Assistant Manager, Sales
OVERVIEW
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks, from developing strategies to maintaining customer relationships, to increase the sales results. Working closely with other members of the sales team, you will need to be able to think on their feet and be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Help establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales forecasts for the region and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
· Develop and motivate IRP Sales Team (internal and external) through mentoring, skills development, and product knowledge development.
· Assist with the planning, recruitment, direction, organization, and control of Internal Realtor Partners in region to accomplish specific objectives.
· Assist with monitoring the performance of the IRP Sales Team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, sales meetings, and electronic communications.
· Analyze markets and sub-markets, as well as Rohit Communities’ current position in the market to identify gaps and strategic areas for concentrating future lot, land, and asset acquisitions.
· Provide recommendations on selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
· Assist with new project and community sales launches by monitoring the timeline of disclosure package completion and creation of marketing assets.
· Develop and maintain competition surveys for all active neighborhoods.
· Monitor the progress of sales and absorption of products within the region.
· Perform monthly product tours and audits as required.
· Provide feedback and monitor the sales administration function and operational performance reporting.
· Analyze the viability of existing and new markets in the region.
· Assess customer satisfaction levels via customer surveys and develop and monitor strategy for obtaining positive online reviews.
· Monitor revenues from deposits and closings and ensure the accuracy of all purchase agreements.
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies (i.e., PHBIA/CHBA).
· Advise senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
· Develop relationships with Area Realtors and Brokers to help build awareness of the Rohit Homes sales portfolio including presenting Rohit Homes at Real Estate Brokerages to assist with inventory promotion.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing big picture vision with attention to detail.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of residential construction processes is an asset
- Strong knowledge of the regional real estate markets
- Experience in business to end-user marketing or retail sales
- Proven track-record of managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, results-orientated, and successful sales team
- Proven Experience in a Sales and Marketing Manager role (7+ years)
EDUCATION
- Associate's degree in Business Economics
