Property Administrator
The Property Administrator is responsible for supporting rental operations with a strong focus on accounts receivable, compliance, and financial accuracy. This role ensures timely rent collection, accurate resident ledgers, and adherence to operational and vendor standards across residential properties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee and manage aged receivables, including monitoring delinquent accounts and initiating collection actions
- Conduct rent collections, including follow-ups with residents who have not paid
- Apply and manage NSF charges and late fees in accordance with company policies
- Prepare, file, and manage RTDRS applications for delinquent accounts requiring legal action
- Review and audit resident ledgers to ensure all charges and payments are accurate and up to date
- Identify and apply missing charges to resident accounts where applicable
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with internal processes and financial controls
- Monitor vendor compliance, including verifying required documentation, site logs, and service records.
- Process and pay vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Support operational reporting and ensure data integrity within property management systems.
- Auditing rental rates, notices, and leasing activities
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- Experience reviewing ledgers, posting charges, and ensuring account accuracy.
- experience in a Property Management, Accounts Receivable or a related financial/administrative role. (1+ years)
- Familiarity with RTDRS or similar tenancy/legal processes is considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience with rent collections, delinquency management, and aged receivables.
