While expecting their son Rohit, Radhe approached his wife Krishna with his idea to be a home builder. With no home building experience, just a bold entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for quality and innovation, they built their first home in 1979. Since then, at Rohit Group of Companies, we have evolved and grown to become an industry leader in Western Canada’s real estate landscape.

1986

Our company was launched from a home office.

1990

Our first office opened in Edmonton with 6 employees.

1993

We received our first Award of Excellence.

1994

We received our first Customer Choice Award.

1998

We expanded into Fort McMurray.

2000

The first year we built over 100 homes.

2002

Rohit Land Development was established.

2005

We established Rohit Commercial.

2007

We generated $100 million in gross revenue.

2010

Rohit Communities was named Edmonton's Home Builder of the Year for the first time.

2014

We were named one of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers.

2015

Rohit Communities expanded its market reach into Calgary and Regina.

2016

Rohit Communities was named Edmonton's Home Builder of the Year for the fourth time this decade.

2018

Rohit Communities introduced its magazine-worthy Designer Interiors.
