Manager, Sales
The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for single-family and multi-family homes. This individual will focus on managing relationships with Independent Realtor Partners (IRPs), optimizing sales processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Driving Sales Performance
- Support development and implementation sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for single-family and multi-family home sales.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive new home sales.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met.
Managing Relationships with IRPs
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Independent Realtor Partners (IRPs) to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide IRPs with training and resources to effectively represent the company’s products.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IRPs, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Market Analysis and Competitive Positioning
- Support market research to understand trends, buyer demographics, and competitor activities.
- Maintain and update competitive surveys for all active neighborhoods to inform pricing and product positioning.
- Use market insights to recommend product offerings and enhancements that align with customer preferences.
Customer Experience Management
- Ensure a seamless and positive customer journey from initial inquiry through post-sale engagement.
- Address escalated customer concerns and work toward satisfactory resolutions to maintain brand loyalty.
- Regularly assess customer satisfaction through surveys and implement strategies for improvement.
Sales Operations and Reporting
- Provide instruction to sales administration functions, ensuring accuracy in contracts, deposits, and closings.
- Prepare and deliver detailed sales reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Streamline sales processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven Experience: 7+ years in a sales and/or marketing manager role; experience with strategic planning and the ability to execute strategic initiatives; proven track record of managing and directing a sales team.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of residential real estate, including market trends, buyer demographics, and the home-buying process; Familiarity with new home construction, local market dynamics, and competitive analysis; A strong understanding of sales strategies, marketing techniques, and customer experience management specific to the home-building industry.
