  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent practical experience.
  • Accounting or financial analyst experience an asset.
  • In pursuit of, or having a CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent qualification is an asset.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in internal controls and processes is an asset.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining periodic dashboards and financial information reporting for stakeholders of the business unit.
  • Streamline existing review processes and set up new ones as required.
  • Designated liaison with broader shared services group; distilling, filtering, and translating operational requests and Shared Services responses.
  • Support Project Managers with the analysis of various operational reports, including variance analysis and organization of Over Expenditures.
  • Collaborate with other shared service lines to achieve corporate objectives and requirements (i.e. – collaborate with Finance to ensure lenders fund our projects in a timely fashion).
  • Prepare various ad hoc analysis as required by management.
  • Create and maintain a variety of continuity schedules including land movement.
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Management team in identifying solutions to processes and data entering in the system(s).
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close process for financial statements. Facilitate the annual budget and financial forecast process from operations perspective in collaboration with Business Partner.
  • Ownership for the accounting information system and data connectors for the Division.
  • Track and report of recoverable project over expenditures, letters of credit, and other long term financial project obligations.
  • Help identify opportunities for profitability optimization on land projects or inter-company synergies.
 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
