Baskets of Hope is a charitable initiative founded in 2010 by Krishna Gupta and Dianne Young with kindness and compassion in mind. It was created with the intention of helping women and children who have experience domestic abuse, get back on their feet while feeling precisely how they should feel – valued and cared for.
At Rohit, we want to promote happy communities by doing the little things that can change a bad day into a good one. At Rohit Group, we take pride in building neighbourhoods that make people happy. We combined our idea that we build “neighbourhoods” with the fact that we want people to feel good and express the “YAY” in where they live, creating our Yaybourhood initiative. Simply, we spread small acts of kindness because want people to LOVE WHERE THEY LIVE!
The silent suffering of people dealing with mental health challenges is a largely unspoken issue in our society. We are grateful for the opportunity to help by supporting programs and support systems funded by the Mental Health Foundation.
We are a longtime partner of Habitat for Humanity, helping them work toward a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Rohit Homes has donated 3 homes to Habitat for Humanity and most recently, we were a partner on the Jimmy Carter Build in Edmonton.
