We are honoured to announce a milestone moment as Rohit Group of Companies founders Radhe and Krishna Gupta were inducted into the BILD Alberta Hall of Fame this past weekend.
Being inducted into the BILD Alberta Hall of Fame is a peer-recognized achievement, highlighting members for their significant and prolonged contributions towards the betterment of the industry. This year’s event was held during the 2023 Beyond the BILD Conference at Fairmont Banff Springs.
Together, Radhe and Krishna have grown the company from a local home builder to an award-winning diversified national real estate organization with divisions now in homebuilding, land development, retail, office, residential rental, healthcare, and PropTech across Canada.
Arriving as immigrants to Canada, the two are grateful to the many industry partners who have supported them since their start in 1986. They also take time to be thankful of their own partnership with Radhe highlighting that his wife’s “unwavering support and dedication has been the backbone of our success”.
As they look to the present, Krishna is delighted to see new talent within the field, reflecting on her own journey as a woman in the construction industry. “I am so happy to see so many women in the industry today” says Krishna, “and I would like to encourage more women to come forward.”
Through the business’ growth, they have maintained an unmatched focus on community involvement and philanthropy by supporting initiatives including the Mental Health Foundation, Stollery Children’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, Edmonton Mennonite Center for Newcomers, Baskets of Hope with Win House, Norquest College’s 1000 Women: A Million Possibilities, and the Council of India Societies of Edmonton.
One of their recent contributions was a land donation to the City of St. Albert, which will be used for future amenity and community space.
Radhe concludes by highlighting the guidance and hard work of everyone around them. “In closing, this recognition is proof of the power of teamwork and community support. It reminds me that together we can achieve anything – you can make 1 and 1, eleven.”
