Rohit Group Founders Radhe & Krishna Gupta Inducted into the Junior Achievement Alberta Business Hall of Fame
The Alberta Business Hall of Fame was created by JA’s Edmonton chapter in 1980 to celebrate company leadership and community stewardship of the highest merit. Selected by previous winners, becoming a laureate is one of the business community’s highest distinctions.
The annual signature event was held virtually on February 17th, 2021, with an interactive agenda. Business leaders across Alberta zoomed through networking, live auctions, and a celebration of this year’s inductees.
The Guptas joined Blaine Labonte, President of DJI Capital and former CEO of Cougar Drilling, and Larry Andrews, CEO & Owner of Landrex, as new laureates.
Radhe & Krishna Gupta immigrated to Canada together, built successful individual careers and started a family, all before establishing Rohit Group of Companies in 1986. Since then, the business has grown from a small home builder to a diversified real estate opportunity company. Transparency, fiscal responsibility, giving back, and thinking outside of the box have been key principles that have allowed their business to grow.
“I’m so pleased they have included Krishna in this honour,” says Radhe. “She is the backbone of our family and the company.”
Rohit Group has won multiple accolades over the years, but the Guptas are most proud of their role in giving back to the community. Radhe & Krishna continue to inspire this culture throughout Rohit Group of Companies.
“The community has given us so much,” says Krishna. “We’re so blessed to be able to give back in a variety of ways. That for me is the greatest joy of the business.”
The Guptas look forward to enjoying time with their grandchildren, engaging in charitable pursuits, mentoring a flourishing team, and continuing to grow the business.
Congratulations Radhe & Krishna!
